At the heart of Active Audio Studios is a DDA AMR 24 fitted with Optifile Tetra VCA Automation. Our DDA has a great vintage warm sound which is at the center of all the recordings made at the studio. The circuitry is 100% analog which gives it a truly transparent eq and musical tone which you don't get from digital consoles today. The routing facility is pretty much unlimited giving each performer their own individual foldback mix.
